Frequently Asked Questions

Do i need to book a table?

It is not absolutely essential as we do keep a few tables for walk-in only.

we do strongly recommend to book it to avoid disappointment.

 

How do i book a table?

Bookings are now handled via opentable.

How many people can i book for?

regular table booking maximum is 8 people. for info on larger group bookings and venue hire, see 'venue hire' tab.

How long do we get the table for?

our booking slots are usually 2 hours long. our latest booking time is 21:00.

​

late arrival?

We urge you to let us know of late arrival via phone or opentable system. 

generally we hold the table for 15 minutes - if you have not contacted or shown up in this time we will release the table and a no-show charge may be applicable.

Cancellations?

please do let us know if you need to cancel via phone, email, or opentable.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes we sell both online and physical gift vouchers , see the tab above.

​

Do you sell tea and coffee?

we don't currently serve any hot drinks.

​

Can i bring a birthday cake?

yes, but please try let us know. we unfortunately cannot supply candles.

​

Can i hire the whole venue?

we are not currently offering full venue hire.

​

wine tastings?

we do 2-3 tastings a year. follow us on social media for updates!

​

do you allow under 18s?

under 18s are allowed until 19:00. 

​

gluten free options?

yes! we offer gluten free additions or the option to make your boards completely gluten free. 

​

do you allow dogs?

we unfortunately cannot allow pets.
